Cancellation & refunds

Crawlink Expense is free. There is no subscription, no card on file and no payment at any point, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. This page exists because people reasonably look for it before trusting a tool with their records.

Stopping

Stop using it, and nothing happens — no dormancy fee, no expiry, no deletion of your data for inactivity. Your books will be as you left them.

Leaving properly

If you want your data gone rather than just idle, in this order:

1. Export first. Any filtered list exports to CSV from the app, with party, category, tag and status names rather than internal ids. Do this before anything below — deletion is not reversible and we cannot recover it for you.
2. Download your bills. Attachments are not included in the CSV; download the ones you need from each entry's page.
3. Delete. Profile → Danger zone deletes your account, your sessions, and every organisation you are the only administrator of, along with their entries and attached files. Organisations that have another administrator are handed to them instead, so a colleague does not lose their books because you left.

If we ever start charging

We do not intend to, and the pricing page says so plainly. If that ever changed, existing accounts would get notice in advance and a window to export everything — nobody would find their data behind a paywall that appeared overnight.
